“Listen To Me” (drama) 2 minutes

Monologue Description: “Listen To Me” is a drama about a man who feels victimized by “the system”.

Character Description: Price stands in his prison cell talking to himself and anyone else that will listen.

PRICE:

You ever hear of Hitler and World War two?  Same shit now man with this government.  They against the citizen, not for the citizen.  At the end of the month they gotta make their cap in order for them to look good in front of their lieutenants and captains or whoever.  They bring innocent guys in and do it in a way that makes it look law abiding and then they fuck you over for no reason.  That’s what I’m talking about.  Supposed to be here for us citizens of this country.  Instead too busy hurting the middle class man and make the poor poorer and the rich even richer.  That’s right.  You gotta be in the shit to know this shit.  Looking outside in your middle class life, you don’t see it.  Guaranteed you get crossed over by the law and you will see what it’s like. 

 The world is coming to an end my friend.  These are the times of the end.  Just read The Book of Revelation.  All that Nostradamus shit is for real.  It’s not theory, it’s not fake.  It’s TRUE!!!  Cops working to suck dick so they can get promoted and be placed on a fucking precinct wall to be remembered for being such a scumbag in society.  Where are all the good cops??  Politicians?  All this media crap and ongoings in Hollywood.  Who slept with this one, who slept with that one, who made a racial slur, who cheated on him, cheated on her, cheating on YOURSELF!!!  All nonsense man!!! 

I want a cigarette!  I wanna look at my rap sheet, I wanna take a piss and I want a drink of motherfucking water!!!  Been waiting here for hours, gonna piss here in my cell and maybe then you all will listen.  I don’t have to cooperate, I don’t have to do shit!!  Nothing!!!

Call me whatch you will, but I ain’t wrong.  I’m right about what I’m right about.  It will all come out in the end.  Only God can judge me now!
