“Radio Guy” (drama) 1 Minute

Monologue Description:  “Radio Guy” is about a radio disc jockey who should be taken off the air.  A guy named Silvio voices his opinion to his friends about the drunk driving topic held on the radio the day before.

Character Description:  Silvio talks to his friends about a radio disc jockey, who he feels is a real creep.

SILVIO:   

I can’t stand those radio guys who think they know everything.  They don’t know shit.  All they have is an absent minded opinion.  It’s like they try to figure out what the best thing to talk about is, so they have good ratings.  Such bullshit.  Sometimes I sit in my car and listen to these clowns cause I am laughing at THEM.  They suck.

I wonder how the heck they got hired.  I mean, where do some of these radio personalities come from?  Terrible. 

This one radio guy was talking about driving home drunk on a regular basis.  Yeah, that’s great radio isn’t it?  Now some knucklehead is going to think it’s alright to drive home under the influence of alcohol.  Asshole.  That guy should be taken off the air!

He’s like, “what’s wrong with a few drinks, nothing crazy?”  Tell that to the five year old child who got hammered by a honda last week or the couple smashed apart by a truck because the driver had a few in him.  Huh, what’s wrong with that, right? 

A complete asshole!  I plan on calling in to the show and telling this guy off!!
