Monologue Description: “The Woman I Love” is about a couple in love.

Character Description: John lets his girlfriend know how much he loves her.

JOHN:

I have never loved any other woman on this planet as much as I love you. You are my light to a brighter day. You bring me so much happiness and comfort. I love all of your little cute mannerisms. From your tender and warm smile to your beautiful face when you are sad. I love to look at you when you laugh outloud with so much vigor, it just captures my heart. I always feel a little flutter in my heart when I catch myself staring at you. I love how you always want to be loved because I always have love to give you. It makes me feel complete when I know that I can share my feelings with you. It amazes me the reciprocation that takes place between us. I admire your strengths as a woman and admire your kind and caring ways. You have to be one of the most gentle spirits I have ever been blessed to encounter. It is an honor to be the man in your life. It is my undying need to make you happy that counts as one of the most important reasons why I breathe.

Everyday when I wake up, I look over to see you and it makes me feel alive. You are one of my greatest inspirations. I think of you throughout time in my day and it keeps me going when things get tough. You are a source of enormous strength for my own will power. You make me feel like the man I’ve always dreamed of being. You are priceless and you are my princess. I enjoy how we can talk about anything and everything. I am so thankful that I can be all of me with you because I know you accept all of who I am. I want you to know that I would die for you. I value your life before my own. I want you to know that I will fight any fight for your well being. I will protect you against any battle to keep you safe. I am your man, your strength and I will never let you down. I will always be there for you when you need a shoulder to cry on. I will always be there for you when you feel like giving up. I will always be there to pick you up again and again. While I am alive, you will never have fear. I am your knight in shining armor.

I’m saying this to you to remind you that I am keenly aware of our relationship and to also let you know that I will never take you for granted. How can I? Everyday you grow more and more beautiful, how can I possibly take you for granted??? Never happen. I want you to be in my life forever, just as we are now. It’s perfect and I cherish it dearly.
