CASSANDRA:
(blows out long blow of cigarette smoke)
Pheeeew! That was a good one, that was definitely one of the good ones. What? Oh, the cigarette. hahaha. I know, I make it sound like a man. hahahaha. But no, really, the cigarette. I had some great thoughts with that cigarette. WE had some great thoughts just now and whenever that happens to me and I have a cigarette in my hand, I highlight it in my cigarette story book.
Does that make sense? Like I have a string of memories dating back to when I first started smoking. It was after sex. My first time. My boyfriend at the time had a cigarette and he was like, “I’ve always wanted to do this, have a cig after I had sex, just like in the movies.” And I asked him to give me a puff or a drag, whatever I said but it was the first time I inhaled a cigarette. You see? That is how my cigarette story book began.
I have another one when my parrot EYOO flew himself head on into the sliding glass doors. I had a cig dangling from my mouth. EYOO didn’t die, he just never flew again. That was one of the bad memories, I try to just make them my good ones though. That one kind of sneaked in but all of my cigarette story book memories are good but DAMN, I should create a blog about it. hahaha.
