Last night I went to see Elza Zagreda’s one woman show, CORN BREAD & FETA CHEESE: Growing up FAT and Albanian. It was simply wonderful. Elza does a terrific job at revealing a heartfelt story that not only gives us an emotional journey but also an education of Albanian culture.
The direction of the piece by Vincent Marano was effective and clear, giving Elza more power on stage as she performed.
I enjoyed what Elza did and anyone who is interested in seeing a good show, should check out Elza Zagreda. Her writing flows poetically, combined with moving characters, makes CORN BREAD & FETA CHEESE an experience worth seeing. I would recommend watching the show!
