Monologue Description: “ZAP” is a drama about an unexplainable occurrence.

Character Description: In this monologue, Deliza explains a strange experience she had while relaxing on her couch.

Setting: This takes place at a park.

DELIZA:

I felt this zap, this energy zap, go through me earlier today.  I was sitting on my couch, just dozing off when I suddenly felt an electrical charge surge it’s way through me.  From my ankles to my wrists, throughout my chest…it almost froze me for a second there but then I opened my eyes.  The zapping sensation began fading off.  What a rush.  I honestly felt like another presence was trying to enter me or warn me of something or tease me for laughs…I don’t know, but it felt like it had intention.
