Come Out and Play

In the serio-comedy monologue Come Out and Play, WAYNE talks about the chubby faced demons that plague him.

Wayne: I’m up.  Writing this shit in the dark.  It was all so clear until now.  All the savage animals racing in my mind suddenly hide behind trees when I whip out my pen.  I see them poking their chubby-cheeked faces at me, giggling riots.  One just gave me the finger.  Little bastard.  Cute gummy bear demons but wildly vicious when too close.  I have the scars to back up my claim.  One rests hidden under the fur of my right forearm.  Yes.

Who wants to get popped in my mouth and chewed on?

I guess they don’t wish to come out and play…there’s always tomorrow.
