Come Together In A Joyful Manner

In this teen monologue, CAROL vents at her immediate family over how they never seem to come together on anything in a joyful manner.

Carol:  I can’t take it.  I can’t take it anymore.  I don’t want to be part of this family anymore!  You are all absolutely insane.  We have the most dysfunctional family ever.  There is no communication!  Everyone goes off in their own direction and no one cares about the well being of the other and it’s all complete madness.

Constant bickering and stress!  We are always divided!

We can’t even schedule a time to meet for a cup of coffee.  Is that not abnormal?  Who isn’t on time, who goes to the wrong coffee place, who doesn’t even want to go for coffee, there are always issues…just once I would like to see us all be together on something, happy, without stress and aggravation.
