Van talks to one of his boys about getting more motivated about what he wants to be in his life, instead of being an online hater and playing video games.
Van: Working hard? Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha. (shakes head) I don’t see it. If you want to be great at what you do, you need to put in the work man. Stop talking about it, be about it.
You go on and on about the things you don’t have and what you wish you had and I pop up on you sitting on the sofa playing video games. Video games? Are you for real dog?
You aren’t going anywhere playing video games homey, drinking warm beer and looking like you haven’t showered in weeks. You look like cheese.
If you really want to be great at something, at anything, it’s not going to happen by itself. You need to wake up early, go to bed late. You need to be so hungry that you are willing to die for it.
If you think that’s too intense, forget it now. Cause there’s a lot of other people out there who want more in their own life, too. Really bad. And they put in those killer hours. They suffer for it. They slave and labor over it and then people like you become their haters because you aren’t willing to put in the sacrifice and time, so you eventually put your energy into bullshit, instead of making something of your own life.
Put on some motivation music, take a cold shower, do something towards your goals. MAKE PROGRESS.
