In I Got This. I Got This., Henry F goes back and forth between confidence and fear in this monologue…two opposing feelings he battles with on a daily basis.
HENRY F.: I got nothing. Nothing. I’m burnt out. You don’t get it, you don’t get it, do you?
I’m here. I’m ready. I got you. I can deliver. I promise.
There is no way I can lift my head off the pillow. I’m crushed right now. Please, please don’t make me.
There is nothing that will stop me. I am unstoppable. I will take care of you and my family. Trust in me. I love you all so much.
If I don’t stop soon, I will disappear into white light. My demons are weighing heavy on me.
Don’t worry, you have nothing to worry about, let me worry about it, you have nothing to get upset about. Let me take it on for you. I will give you hope.
I am so alone sometimes…do I have what it takes? Do I have enough time?
I got this. I got this.
