In Mind Travel Journeys, MASON talks to his Grandfather about how he copes with not being happy at school, with family and in town.
Mason: Most days I wish I could be somewhere else. I get so fed up with seeing the same faces at school, at home, around town. Feel like I’m trapped here. It sucks.
My only escape is looking up at the stars because it gives me hope. Helps me cope with all the crap I deal with everyday.
When I stare up at the stars at night, I go on these mind travel journeys. Just me and my telescope and together we can go in any direction and get away from anything.
I’ll spend hours in my backyard, on my deck trying to make discoveries. It’s the only thing that makes me feel connected to something greater than myself.
