One Day You Will Be Dead

This is a reflective monologue piece that deals with regret, time and the necessary needs we all have to do the right thing in life with people we love.

Jimm: One day you will be dead but before you die, you will look back on your life and realize what was missed.

You will look back and remember all the lost moments that could have been…all the smiles, conversations, all the laughs and warm exchanges…all erased forever because you refused to fill in time.  Our memories together will remain blank because of excuses, because of fears…

You’ve done a wonderful job holding on to your fantasies by looking out to the horizon.

One day, I will be dead and I will share with you those same empty memories, unfilled promises…I too, have looked out to the horizon but it was you I always wished to see.
