One Hundred Percent Sure

In this teen guy monologue, JABEZ talks to his cousin about whether or not God really exists and how he feels about it all.

Jabez: I don’t know if I believe in God.  My parents raised me up to believe but I don’t know if I truly do.  I’m not saying I don’t want to believe cause I rather believe in something than in nothing.

I’m curious about the truth.  Like, I want real answers.  I talked to my Uncle the other day and he goes on about all this spiritual stuff that makes him sound wacky.  No one seems to be able to give me a concrete answers.

…I must admit that I feel something…I do…I feel like there is a God but I just wish there was a way for me to be one hundred percent sure.

What do you think?  Do you think there really is a God?
