You Sell Me Heaven But Give Me Hell

In this drama monologue, CHEZZ tells his friend that he is nothing short of a consistent disappointment because he never shows up when he says he will.

Chezz:  You say one thing and then you go and do another.  What’s wrong with you?  Why do you always contradict yourself?  You make me feel like you are so sneaky at times and I can’t trust you.

Why tell me that you are going to meet with me and family on Saturday but you pull out in the morning?  You make me look like a fool.

Here I am talking the good talk about you, getting everyone excited to see you and then you tell me you can’t make it. You don’t even apologize!  I’m left there holding the bag and this isn’t the first time you’ve done this to me, Ralph.   You make me look bad and you make yourself look stupid.  You are more consistent with lying than I think you even realize.

I’m not going to invite you anymore.  All you ever do is sell me heaven but give me hell.
