About
Monologue Blogger exists for independent artists — actors, filmmakers, artistic directors, and storytellers — providing original material and insight to create, perform, and produce work from their own voice.
At its core, the platform supports the spirit of the artist — offering bold, contemporary monologues, scenes, plays, and screenplays that serve as catalysts for personal expression and creative risk.
Monologue Blogger presents works designed to be explored, interpreted, and transformed through rehearsal, production, and film development. The material becomes ammunition — a starting point from which artists shape work through their own vision and experience.
With thousands of original works — including over 500 short plays — the platform provides performance-ready material for projects on stage, screen, in the classroom, and across digital platforms.
Since 2006, Monologue Blogger works have been performed on stage and screen and studied in drama schools worldwide. The platform continues to serve as a working body of material for artists moving from audition rooms to rehearsal halls to full productions.
Founded and led by writer, actor, and director Joseph Arnone, Monologue Blogger is built on working knowledge of performance, storytelling, and actor process.
Joseph continues to create for Monologue Blogger while developing new works for stage and screen. His latest collection, The Goldfish and Other Plays, edited by his long-time collaborator and partner Daniella Alma, is now available in print.
Monologue Blogger exists to equip artists with material that can be developed, challenged, and made their own.
