Treat Me Nice

In this one-act play, CORINNE and MOM live together and try to find a deeper closeness by discussing the father/husband that abandoned them.

Description

Treat Me Nice is a short drama play that quickly dives deep into the difficult relationship between a dying mother and her overly responsible daughter.

Corinne has sacrificed so much of her youth in order to take care of her dying mother at home.  As if that weren’t enough, all her time spent helping her mother greatly appears to be taken for granted.

The short drama play captures a pivotal moment within this mother and daughter’s relationship when a conversation gets stirred about the absence of Corinne’s father.

Maybe this up and down relationship does have a hidden bond after all.
