INT. SKY RISE APARTMENT – EVENING

C4 looks out the window while D29 sets the table for dinner.

C4:  I think I was being followed.

D29:  What do you mean, followed?

C4:  Tracked.

D29:  By who? When?

C4:  It was a few months ago..I didn’t want to cause alarm, but I think they stopped.

D29:  Why would they wish to track you?

C4:  I have no idea. Maybe my past.

D29:  The past doesn’t matter here.

C4:  That doesn’t mean they won’t keep tabs.

D29:  You are a changed man.

C4:  I changed, but not those I once associated with.

D29: That has nothing to do with you.

C4:  You don’t know what stories people make up in order to save their own skin.

D29:  You’ve been cleared of all wrongdoing a long time ago. There is nothing to worry about.

C4:  They are watching me.

D29:  Don’t be foolish.

C4:  I saw one in the sky.

D29:  When?

C4:  About the same time I was being tracked. I was resting in bed early in the morning, and it was staring at me.

D29:  They were probably just making their rounds.

C4:  Making rounds is one thing, they were scanning.

D29:  You don’t know for sure.

C4:  I felt their energy…I felt like I was being scanned.

D29:  This is all in your mind.

C4:  Why won’t you believe me?

D29:  Because you always go on about such things.

C4:  I’ve never gone on about something like this.

D29:  It’s nothing.

C4:  Why do you pacify what I’m–

D29:  Shouldn’t you report it?

C4:  I don’t want to get involved.

D29:  There you go. You see? If you really thought something serious you would have reported it.

C4:  What if my image was taken?

D29:  Whatever for?

C4:  As reference.

D29:  Reference for what?

C4:  Reference for whatever the hell they need referencing for!
